Margaux, Djuddah, Nick and Christer attended the Workshop on Deep Learning and Neural Approaches for Linguistic Data organised by the COST action NexusLinguarum. The workshop is aimed at deep learning in connection with linguistic data and the effective use of deep learning in understanding the specificities of linguistic data, to be better exploited and combined with linked data mechanisms. After our presentation at the Writing Analytics Conference, a lot of work had been shifted to improve the reliability and method of the Object Detection Method YOLO on our database to determine IMRAD like structures in texts. This conference was a useful venue to test our ideas in a community that is very much driven by computational methods, and useful feedback was received. The outcome of the meeting was a publication in the proceedings.
