In the current project, Diāna Laiveniece is Principal Investigator who is leading the investigation in Latvia.
Diāna’s research interests include Latvian scientific language, academic writing, text-linguistics, and methodology of teaching Latvian as a native language and foreign language. Her publications include the monographs “Issues of Didactics in Language Acquisition” (Valodas metodikas didaktiskie jautājumi; 2000), “Language Studies for Teenagers” (Valodas mācības pusaudzim; 2003) and “School of Scientific Writing” (Zinātniskās rakstīšanas skola; 2014; 2015). Diāna Laiveniece is the scientific editor of “Language Acquisition: Problems and Perspective” (2016) and “Problems of and Perspectives on language Acquisition” (2018) – both volumes published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
