On October 7-8, 2021, the Bwrite team participated in the 2nd interdisciplinary conference National languages in academic research and higher education (NatAcLang2021), held in Tallinn University. The Estonian and Lithuanian teams were present in person, whilst our Latvian colleagues were able to join us remotely, thanks to the excellent technical support of the event. The conference focused on the current situation of national languages in the globalising world of science, as well as on different solutions on how to reach a sustainable balance between national and international, multilingual scientific work and communication. There were speakers from different corners of the world: from Mexico to Japan, and from a dozen European countries in between. With our five presentations, the Bwrite team was highly visible at the event, and the project gained plenty of attention.

7.–8. oktoobrini 2021 võtsime osa Tallinna ülikoolis toimunud II mitmeteaduslikust konverentsist „Rahvuskeeled teaduses ja kõrghariduses“ (NatAcLang2021). Eesti ja Leedu tiimil oli võimalik viibida kohapeal, Läti osalejad liitusid tänu konverentsi suurepärasele tehnilisele lahendusele veebi vahendusel. Konverents keskendus rahvuskeelte seisundile teaduskeelena üleilmastuvas maailmas, samuti sellele, kuidas kindlustada tasakaal rahvusliku ja rahvusvahelise teadussuhtluse ning kõrghariduse keelte vahel. Kuulati ettekandeid maailma eri paigust: tosinkonnale Euroopa riigile lisaks ka Mehhikost ja Jaapanist. Tänu meie viiele ettekandele oli Bwrite’i tiimi kohalolu konverentsi tuntavamaid ning projekt pälvis rohkelt tähelepanu.
